At a glance

The young scientists’ event “Visions for the Future of Geoscience” addresses young international scientists in the final phase of their studies, during their PhD as well as young professionals.

Inspired by keynotes of international experts, young scientists discuss their vision in respect to the contribution geoscience can make in daily life of Indonesian society such as disaster mitigation, water and food safety, environment and sustainable infrastructure development. The keynotes and following panel discussion will focus on the “Future of Digital Technologies in Geoscience” and their potential to face the challenges of tomorrow. The event will take place online.

Every participant will receive a certification of attendance after the event. We are looking forward to see you soon!

Poster Session

The attending young scientists have the opportunity to present their own research results and concepts in a poster session. The topics shall deal with digital technologies in the field of Geoscience. An international panel of experts will view all posters and select the best three submissions. Prizes and certificates reward the best three posters in a poster award ceremony at the end of the event.
